A prototype helps clients see the outcome before committing

Why you want a web prototype rather than proposal document

Proposals and concept documents are useful, but they can only go so far. They describe a direction in words. A prototype shows the direction in context.

For many businesses, a prototype is the moment when a website idea becomes tangible. It allows stakeholders to see structure, hierarchy, content flow and overall experience before a huge amount of build time has been spent.

This reduces the risk of misunderstandings later in the process. If the look, flow or priorities need adjusting, it is far easier to adjust them before development gets too advanced.

A prototype is not about locking everything in too early. It is about making the project clearer, more collaborative and more likely to succeed once the build starts.

At INDIGO, we believe the clearest projects are the ones where the strategy and the creative direction can both be tested before work is fully underway.
